WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball squad has been forced to postpone its game against Jacksonville State, originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon, due to inclement weather in the Washington, D.C. area. The game will be rescheduled for later in the season.
After returning from a two-day tournament, the Gamecocks were unable to travel to Washington, D.C. due to airport closings and flight cancellations throughout the East Coast region because of the winter weather. The Hoyas had the past week off for final exams.
Georgetown will be back in action on Tuesday as the Hoyas welcome NC State to McDonough Arena for a 7 p.m. matchup.
