Washington, D.C. - Georgetown men's tennis lost 6-1 to Binghamton on Sunday afternoon at the McDonough Tennis Complex. The Bearcats swept the doubles matches before winning five of six singles contests.
In doubles play, Adam Gross and Tim Walsh kept their match close to the very end before falling at the No. 3 doubles position, 9-8.
Walsh also kept things interesting in singles play at the No. 5 spot before falling to Rafael Rodrigues, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 10-3. Mieszko Tomczyk won the only point of the day for the Blue & Gray with a 2-6, 7-5, 10-4 victory over Evan Algier at the No. 6 position.
