Georgetown Tennis Names Adam Gross Assistant Coach

July 9, 2009

Washington, D.C. - Georgetown Tennis Head Coach Gordie Ernst announced today that recent graduate Adam Gross will be staying on the Hilltop as assistant coach next season.

"Adam bleeds Blue & Gray and we're excited to have him back next season in a coaching role," Ernst said. "His Georgetown experience and the energy he brings are positives that will benefit our program."

Gross, a co-captain this past season, helped aid the team in achieving one of their most successful seasons during the spring of 2007 and competed in every match for the last three years. He was also nominated to attend the NCAA National Student Development Conference and selected to the Veteran Leadership program by Georgetown University coaches and administrators.

During his summers, Gross has served as a Tennis Professional at the North Fork Country Club in Cutchogue, New York where he directed summer camps and helped increase attendance. He has also worked numerous Georgetown Tennis camps alongside Coach Ernst.
