Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University men's and women's swimming & diving teams split a dual meet at home this afternoon with St. Bonaventure. The women won their eighth straight, 152.5-123.5, and the men lost, 162-138.

For the second day in a row, the Hoya women got things going with a win in the 200 medley relay. Lindsay Vickroy (Wayne, Pa./Conestoga), Kathryn Berg (Fargo, N.D./Fargo North), Laura Alito (West Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) and Megan Harvey (Norristown, Pa./Academy of Notre Dame de Namur) grabbed the initial 11 points of the meet. Vickroy would go on to also win the 100 free and 100 back.

Mallory Kiplinger (Darien, Conn./Darien) also won multiple events on the afternoon taking the 50 and 200 free. Other winners included Caitlin Karniski (Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Prep) in the 1-meter dive, Amy Ballanfant (Houston, Texas/M.B. Lamar) in the 100 breast, Kristen Pratt (Wyckoff, N.J./Ramapo) in the 200 fly, Christina Costa (Tarrytown, N.Y./Irvington) in the 1000 free and Christina Daquila (New Providence, N.J./Pingry) in the 500 free. Costa's time was a PR for her and moved her up top-10 list in that event at GU. Daquila earned PR times in the 500 free victory and the 200 IM. Alison Christie (Edison, N.J./Mount St. Mary Academy) also achieved a PR with her time in the 100 fly.

Paul Quincy (San Ramon, Calif./California) turned in a big performance for the Hoyas winning the 500 and 1000 free and earning a PR in the 100 free. Victor Lopez-Cantera (Miami, Fla./Belen Jesuit Prep) also won two events by capturing the 100 and 200 fly. Thomas Graham (Washington, D.C./St. Albans) won the 100 breast and James LiVolsi (Scotch Plains, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) won the 200 back for the Blue & Gray.

Wes Going (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis University High) won the 100 back with a PR time of 53.79 and also picked up a PR in the 200 back. Brian Koh (Rowland Heights, Calif./Damien) also earned two PR's in the 200 free and 200 IM, while Brad Murray (Saratoga, Calif./Saratoga) also snagged a PR in the 200 IM.

"For the guys to compete the way they did today was very encouraging," Head Coach Steve Cartwright said. "After racing yesterday against Army and today facing a very good St. Bonaventure team, one of the top mid-major programs in the nation, it's something to build on moving forward as we start preparing for BIG EAST's."

The Hoyas return to the pool for their final home meet of the season next weekend against Howard.
