WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University Department of Athletics will be hosting its inaugural "Jr. Hoya Weekend" October 23-24. It will take place at North Kehoe Field in conjunction with both men's and women's soccer games.
Both days will feature fun and exciting activities from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will be a carnival of sport, with stations where children will be able to play different games and sports, such as kickball, soccer and football. Participants will have a chance to interact with Georgetown students and athletes.
The activities include free admission to Georgetown soccer games that weekend. The men will face Marquette University on Saturday, and the women will take on No. 4 Notre Dame on Sunday. Both contests are slated to begin at 1 p.m. at North Kehoe Field.
The event is open to the public and all children, 8th grade and younger, are welcome.
