Book Drive Sign in PDF Format

WASHINGTON - The John Thompson III Foundation will host a Book Drive when the Georgetown University men's basketball team hosts Appalachian State at Verizon Center on Sunday, Dec. 12 at noon. Fans are encouraged to bring children's books to the game as the JTIII Foundation holds its fourth annual holiday drive.

The book drive will benefit Everybody Wins! DC (www.everybodywinsdc.org), a local non-profit organization devoted to promoting children's literacy and a love of learning through shared reading experiences. EW!DC operates in 32 Title I public elementary schools, serving more than 4,000 children throughout the Washington Metropolitan area by pairing them with an adult reading mentor.
