WASINGTON - Georgetown University Men's Basketball Head Coach John Thompson III announced today that sophomore Jerrelle Benimon will transfer.

"Jerrelle is transferring and although he has not announced where he will go, wherever it is, we wish him all of the best." Coach Thompson said.

Benimon, a 6-7 forward from Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Va., saw action in every game this season, averaging 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 points while playing 10.3 minutes per contest
