WASHINGTON -
Girls Can Club Registration Form
As the Georgetown University women's soccer team looks forward to the start of the 2011 season, the team is inviting all girls ages 7-12-years-old to join the "Girls Can Club."
The "Girl's Can Club" It is a program set up for young girls to get to know the college players on a personal level and have positive role models to look up to. The Girls Can Club unites young girls between the ages of 7 and 12 with college women's soccer players in a group mentoring environment. Each woman from our team is a mentor to 3-5 young girls during the course of the year.
"We're really excited to be part of the Girls Can Club this year," Head Women's Soccer Coach Dave Nolan said. "This is a great program that helps to develop a bond between our players and young girls in our community. It's a tremendous outreach and we're looking forward to a great response this year."
Events include meeting that involve goal setting, healthy living, friendship, and less formal opportunities for Mentor and Mentees to hang out such as eating in the dining hall, going to another sporting event on campus, touring the dorms, post-game socials, pre-game events, a soccer clinic and more.
Enrollment will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please return the registration form as soon as possible as space is limited.
