WASHINGTON - Andrea White (Lancaster, Va./Lancaster), a senior captain on the Georgetown University women's basketball squad (7-13, 1-7 BIG EAST), was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after a solid week for the Blue & Gray. It is White's fifth nod to the honor roll this season and sixth award so far this year.
White averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds over two games last week for the Blue & Gray. She led the Hoyas in both contests with 21 points against DePaul and 18 at St. John's in a tough three-point loss, shooting 48.6 percent from the field.
White has earned six spots on the honor roll in her career.
Georgetown has won eight BIG EAST awards so far this year and also had seven nods to the honor roll.
