WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball freshman guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after a 1-1 week for the Hoyas (5-2), who return home this week after a five-game road trip.

White averaged 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists this week for the Hoyas. The freshman totaled 22 points, four assists and seven boards in Georgetown's 63-57 comeback win at George Mason before a 17-point effort in a loss at St. Bonaventure.

She is currently second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.1 ppg, and leads the team in rebounds (6.0 rpg), assists (3.6 apg) and steals (3.6 spg).

This is White's first honor roll award after earning two freshman of the week recognitions so far this season. It is for fourth for the Hoyas on the year.
