WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's basketball player Jabril Trawick (Philadelphia, Pa./Abington Friends) was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Sunday afternoon, the first time the senior has been recognized in his career.

Trawick helped lead the Hoyas to a pair of wins this week, winning at No. 21 Butler, 60-54, on Tuesday, and closing out the regular season on Saturday at home with a 73-67 win over Seton Hall.

Georgetown, winners of five of the last six games, closed out the regular season with a 20-9 overall record and were 12-6 in the BIG EAST, finishing in second place. The Hoyas, the No. 2 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament, will play either No. 7 seed DePaul or No. 10 Creighton in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In two games this week, Trawick averaged 14.0 points and 4.0 assists.

In Tuesday's win over Butler, Trawick scored nine points and had four assists as the Hoyas used a late run to pull away from the Bulldogs.

In Saturday's win over Seton Hall, Trawick scored a career-high 19 points, had four assists and three rebounds as nine different players scored in the 73-67 win for the Hoyas.

In 29 games this season, Trawick is third on the team in scoring with 8.8 points per game, second with 2.4 assists and fifth with 3.7 rebounds per game.
