WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University Athletics online All-Sports Auction is now underway and will be active throughout the 2016-17 school year.

In previous years, the All-Sports Auction was held for a two-week period in the spring, but this year, the auction will be held throughout the year, with items posted during a team’s season and schedule.

The All-Sports Auction currently features items for men’s soccer, as well as football and volleyball.

Proceeds from items on the All-Sport Auction will go directly to the specified team in the item description, or the Athletics Excellence Fund. Some great items to be featured this year include a custom Georgetown cornhole board set, t-shirt gun experience, signed basketball by Bill Rafferty, Alonzo Mourning signed Nike basketball shoe, various jerseys and much more.

Fans can bid now on a very unique experience to sit with the Voice of Georgetown Basketball, Rich Chvotkin, during his radio broadcast of the Hoyas games against Arkansas State on Thursday, Nov. 17. This opportunity will be open until Monday, Nov. 15.

Since its inception, the online All-Sports Auction has raised thousands of dollars to support the Georgetown Athletics mission to further the formation of character and foster leadership in Georgetown’s 750-plus student-athletes.
