WASHINGTON - Graduate student midfielder Joe Bucci (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon after scoring seven goals and adding one assist during the Georgetown University men's lacrosse team's two games last week.

Bucci scored a career-high five goals and one assist in GU's loss to Hobart on Saturday afternoon. He also had two goals in the Hoyas loss to Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon. Since returning to the lineup against Hofstra, Bucci has sparked the offense with nine goals, the second-leading total on the team. This is the first BIG EAST weekly honor for Bucci during his career on the Hilltop.

The Hoyas return to action on Saturday, March 19 when they travel to Durham, N.C. to take on No. 11/9 Duke (5-3). The opening faceoff with the Blue Devils is scheduled for 1 p.m.
