NCAA Regional Final Combo 
FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Freshman Harrison Rhoades (Raleigh, N.C./Needham Broughton) shot a 1-under par 71, while sophomores Cole Berman (Philadelphia, Pa./The Haverford School) and Sam Madsen (Madison, Wis./Edgewood/Cardinal Gibbons [Fla.]) each shot even-par 70, but the Georgetown University men's golf team slipped back to 12th-place on the final day of the 2016 NCAA Franklin Regional at the par-72, 7,190 yard Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Hoyas turned in a team score of 5-over par 293 in the final round, finishing the three-day tournament at 13-over par 877. GU finished one stroke in front UT-Martin and one stroke behind Troy, while finishing five strokes behind 10th-place Michigan. Texas won the regional, finishing at 45-under par, host Vanderbilt finished second at 34-under par. Houston, LSU and Virginia round out the top five, who will all advance to the National Championship Tournament in Eugene, Oregon.
Madsen shot an even-par 72 on the final day of the regional championship to finish at 2-under par 214, tying for 29th in the 54-hole tournament. Berman also shot an even-par 72 in the third round to finish tied for 43rd overall. Berman finished the tournament at 1-over par 217.
Rhoades turned in Georgetown's best round of the day, firing a 1-under par 71 to move into a tie for 51st. His 71 score tied his tournament best from the first round, as Rhoades finished at 2-over par 218.
Sophomore Jack Musgrave (Chesterton, Ind./Andrean) overcame a slow start to birdie two of his last three holes of the round. He finished with a 6-over par 78, to place him in a tie for 70th-place. Over the three days, Musgrave shot a 12-over par 228. Freshman Kevin Jackson (Atlanta, Ga./The Marist School) shot a 6-over par 78 to finish three rounds at 16-over par 228. Jackson also birdied two of his last three holes after a rocky start to the final round.
