In singles play, Georgetown won five matches to regain the lead and eventually pick up the result. The deciding victory came from senior Yannick Mahlangu (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley High School) at No. 4 who downed Youssef Lahlou by a score of 7-5, 7-6 (7-5). One other Hoya played a tight match as Witmer lost the first set, but came back strong to down Daniil Ginzburg, 3-6, 6-2, 10-7, at No. 6.
