WASHINGTON ââ'¬" Junior guard L.J. Peak (Gaffney, S.C./Gaffney) scored Georgetown's last five points in the final 54 seconds and the Hoyas held off a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer, beating DePaul, 76-73, at Allstate Arena Tuesday night.

It was the third-straight win for the Hoyas, and the second consecutive on the road. Georgetown improves to 13-10 overall and 4-6 in the BIG EAST Conference, while the Blue Demons fall to 8-14 overall and 1-8 in league play.

Graduate student Rodney Pryor (Evanston, Ill./Notre Dame Prep/Robert Morris), playing in front of nearly 60 family and friends, scored a game-high 26 points to lead Georgetown. Sophomore center Jessie Govan (Queens Village, N.Y./Wings Academy) added 14 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Peak finished with 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Hoyas are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 4, returning home to host Seton Hall. Tipoff at Verizon Center is slated for noon. The game will be shown live on FS1, with Joe Davis calling the play-by-play and Len Elmore serving as the color analyst. The radio call of Rich Chvotkin can be heard locally on 106.7 FM The Fan.
