WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball freshman right fielder Sera Stevens (Birmingham, Mich./Marian) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. This is the first weekly award of her career, and first on the season for the Hoyas. GU participated in the Felsburg Invitational this past weekend, hosted by Florida International in Miami, Fla.

Stevens had a big weekend for the Blue & Gray, leading the team with five RBI and belting two home runs. She is now hitting .385 on the year after getting five hits on the weekend.

The Hoyas return to action next weekend with the USC Upstate Classic. The first game of the tournament will take place against Colgate at noon on February 17.
