WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball team (15-21, 8-10 BIG EAST) will travel to Providence, Rhode Island to take on the Providence College Friars in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. First pitch of the Tuesday doubleheader is scheduled for 3 p.m., and Wednesday's single game will also begin at 3 p.m. The games were rescheduled from earlier this season due to snow in the Providence region.
