WASHINGTON - Georgetown University sophomore Austin McDonald (Olney, Md./Georgetown Prep) was named to the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Monday. McDonald scored three goals for his first career hat trick in a 13-7 loss at Providence in BIG EAST action on Saturday.

The award marks the first time McDonald has garnered BIG EAST weekly honors. He has scored nine goals to go with two assists for 11 points in eight games this season.

Georgetown (2-9, 0-3 BIG EAST) returns home to Cooper Field to host BIG EAST foe Villanova on Saturday, April 15, at 2:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network with Ben Holden calling the play-by-play and Sheehan Stanwick Burch providing color commentary.
