WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's basketball team will look for the regular season sweep in a rematch against the DePaul Blue Demons on Wednesday evening in BIG EAST play. Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. at Capital One Arena. The Hoyas, who are looking for their second-consecutive win, hold a record of 13-6 overall, while being 3-5 in the BIG EAST.

The game can be seen live on FS1 with Rich Ackerman calling the play-by-play and Tarik Turner providing the color analysis. The game can be heard locally on WJFK 106.7 FM with Rich Chvotkin handling the call.

On Saturday, Georgetown defeated St. John's, 93-89 in double overtime, with five Hoyas in double figures. Junior forward Marcus Derrickson (Bowie, Md./Brewster Academy [N.H.]) nailed a game-tying 3-pointer to force a second overtime and tallied a career-high 27 points. Junior center Jessie Govan (Queens Village, N.Y./Wings Academy) and freshman guard Jamorko Pickett (Washington, D.C./Massanutten Military Academy [Va.]) each chipped in 16 points. Freshman guard Jahvon Blair (Brampton, Ont./Athlete Institute Prep) added 15 points and sophomore guard Jagan Mosely (Marlboro, N.J./St. Anthony) put up 12 to round out those in double figures. Derrickson added 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season, while Pickett came just shy with nine boards. Mosely paced the offense with seven assists.

For the season, Govan leads the Hoyas with 17.3 ppg and 10.9 rpg. He currently leads the BIG EAST in defensive rebounds, averaging 7.9 rpg. Derrickson is second on the team in both categories as he registers 15.2 ppg and 7.7 rpg. In league play, both Govan and Derrickson are among the top five in rpg.

DePaul is now 8-11 overall and 1-6 in the BIG EAST, losing its last three contests. Most recently, the Blue Demons lost to Butler, 79-67, on Saturday. Max Strus led the way for DePaul with 27 points. For the season, Strus leads DePaul with 18.2 ppg, while Marin Maric is the team's leading rebounder at 6.3 rpg.

This is 39th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Georgetown leading the series, 30-8, and the second matchup this season. In the first meeting earlier this month in Chicago, the Hoyas nabbed the win, 90-81, at Wintrust Arena. Derrickson and Govan combined for 49 of GU's points.

Following Wednesday's game, the Hoyas will hit the road to Omaha, Nebraska to face Creighton. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. E.T. on Saturday and can be watched live on CBS Sports and heard locally on 99.1 WNEW-FM with Rich Chvotkin handling the call.
