WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's soccer team was one of 484 women's programs in the nation to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year. The award recognizes teams who post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Hoyas were one of 191 schools that had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
This is the 15th year that the Blue & Gray received the United Soccer Coaches College Women's Team Academic Award and the program's 12th-straight year earning the award.
The No. 5 Hoyas (10-0-2, 3-0 BIG EAST) will play Creighton on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET in Omaha, Nebraska. Live stats and video will be available at www.GUHoyas.com.
