Georgetown finished the BIG EAST conference 8-0-1 and clinched its third-consecutive BIG EAST Championship title as well as the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship title for the second year in a row. The Hoyas became the first team in the league to three-peat since Notre Dame (1995-2001) and claimed the conference's automatic berth into the tournament. The Blue & Gray claimed four of the major BIG EAST awards and six players made the All-BIG EAST Team. Senior
Caitlin Farrell (Wallingford, Conn. / Choate Rosemary Hall) was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, Nally was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year and Schechtman was named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year for the second year in a row. Georgetown Head Coach

Sunday's game will be the second all-time meeting between the two schools. Earlier this season, then-No. 15 Georgetown hosted then-No. 11 Duke at Shaw Field in GU's home opener, which resulted in a scoreless tie.
After Sunday's game, the Georgetown men's soccer team will play at Shaw Field at 2 p.m. to take on West Virginia in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Tickets for both games are available on WeAreGeorgetown.com/tickets.
