WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's basketball senior guard Dionna White (Baltimore, Md./Milford Mill) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll the league announced on Monday. It is the second weekly honor for the Hoyas this season and the eighth nod of her career.
 
In a 1-1 week for the Hoyas, White averaged 18.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals, including a 22-point, eight-rebound outing at James Madison on Friday.  In a 45-30 win over Loyola earlier in the week, White managed 15 points and six rebounds as well as three steals in the contest.
 
White is second on the team with 13.8 ppg, and leads the squad in rebounds pulling down 7.0 rpg. She also has six steals in the first four games.  The guard was a Preseason All-BIG EAST honoree this year and is a three-time postseason award winner being named the 2017-18 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year.
