WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball will be featured on CBS Sports Network Wednesday night in a 30-minute program entitled, College Hoops Confidential:  Hoyas in Jamaica. It will air Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
 
The program follows the team on and off the court during its time in Montego Bay, Jamaica while the team participated in the 2018 Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic. Georgetown went 1-1 in the tournament, losing to Loyola Marymount 65-52 and defeating South Florida 76-73 in overtime in the tournament.
 
For his efforts, center Jessie Govan (Queens Village, N.Y. / Wings Academy) was named to the All-Tournament Team Montego Bay Division after averaging 23.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg in two games.
 
"It was a great experience to take my players to my birth nation," Head Coach Patrick Ewing, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, said. "It was good to be back home and to share my culture with them."
 
Georgetown is in the midst of a four-game homestand to close out 2018. The Hoyas wind down the nonconference portion of the schedule with Little Rock on Saturday, Dec. 22 and Howard on Saturday, Dec. 29.
