WASHINGTON - Georgetown University seniors Ryan Hursey (Finksburg, Md./Westminster) and Nick Marrocco (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) were both named Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-Americans, as announced on Sunday night. The duo become the 72nd and 73rd All-Americans in program history for the Hoyas.

Hursey has been widely recognized as one of the top short stick defensive midfielders in the nation this season. An All-BIG EAST Second Team selection, he has collected 13 ground balls to go with six caused turnovers. Often drawing the responsibility of defending the opposition's top offensive threat. Georgetown's defense held opponents to a paltry 8.12 goals per game and held foes to six goals or fewer in eight different games this season. Hursey was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the BIG EAST Championship. He was selected by the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft in the fifth round, 42nd overall.

Marrocco closes out his career on the Hilltop as one of the most decorated Hoya goalies in program history. Bookending his career as an All-BIG EAST First Team performer, he was also named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year in 2018 and was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player at the BIG EAST Championship. He posted a 7.95 goals-against average to go with 156 saves and a .545 save percentage. Marrocco recorded eight games with double-digit saves, including a season-high 15 in a win at No. 13/13 Villanova. His 658 career saves rank fourth all-time at Georgetown.

Georgetown went 12-5 overall in 2018, winning the BIG EAST Championship for the first time in program history and advancing to the NCAA Tournament before falling in the first round at No. 2/5 Johns Hopkins.
