Paul Allbright Named Women’s Rowing Recruiting Coordinator

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Women's Rowing Coach Kendall Mulligan has named Paul Allbright as the new Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the 2018-19 school year.
 
"Coming on as our primary recruiting coordinator, Paul's many years at the high school level will bring new connections to Georgetown," said Mulligan. "His experience as a technical coach on the water will also serve as valuable as we look to make the shift to the next level. We are thrilled to be bringing Paul on board this fall."

Paul comes to the Hilltop with over a decade of coaching experience at the junior level. Allbright is the founder and executive director of Resilient Rowing Club in Fairfax, Virginia. and was he was previously the executive director at Northern Virginia Rowing Club in Occoquan, Virginia. He also coaches at the United States Under-19 National Team High Performance Camps and the USJNT Small Boat Development Camps.
 
The Fairfax, Virginia. native was most recently the head rowing coach at James Madison High School in Vienna, Va. During his tenure at James Madison, his athletes won 13 Virginia State Championship medals, six Stotesbury Cup medals and numerous SRAA, NSRA, US Rowing Youth National, and US Rowing Club National Championship medals.

In 2011, Allbright was named Washington Post All-Met Women's Rowing Coach of the Year.
 
Allbright is a graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
