Georgetown Men's Recap (5th of 9, 128 points)
The Georgetown men were led by the efforts of
Ty Brownlow (Liverpool, N.Y. / Liverpool), who turned in a top-20 finish for the Hoyas with a time of 26:31.
Eion Nohilly (Golden's Bridge, N.Y. / John Jay) and
Joshua Bell (Nashville, Tenn. / Brentwood Academy) finished 22nd and 23rd with times of 26:47 and 26:48, respectively.
Dylan Scarsone (Anaheim, Calif. / Canyon) finished 27th overall with a time of 26:53 and
Henry Smithers (Warwick, R.I. / Gould Academy) rounded out the point scoring for the Hoyas finishing with a time of 27:31.
"I saw some good competitive efforts from our front four guys today," Head Men's Cross Country Coach
Brandon Bonsey said. "
Ty Brownlow had a very nice debut in the Hoya uniform. We are training a lot, but have not done any quality work so I think the pace today was a little shock to the system. That's okay for right now. It's early September and we rested six of our projected top seven. I saw some things we need to work on and Coach Crozier and I will address those in practice. We will be a much more prepared team when we line up in Madison, Wisconsin in three weeks."
