WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's basketball team will host the Villanova University Wildcats on Saturday at 2 p.m. at McDonough Arena. The game will be broadcast live on the BIG EAST Digital Network with Jeremy Huber and Hoya alum Monica McNutt calling the action. The Hoyas are currently 8-9 on the season and 2-4 in league play.

Dorothy Adomako (Midlothian, Va. / Cosby) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Adomako posted back-to-back game highs against preseason co-favorites No. 15/14 Marquette and RV/RV DePaul to finish as the BIG EAST's second-leading scorer last week. She averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and .607 shooting, going for 24 points in the 69-64 loss to the Blue Demons and managing 21 points in the 72-62 decision against the Golden Eagles.

Dionna White (Baltimore, Md. / Milford Mill) also scored in double digits in both games contributing 13 points against DePaul along with five rebounds and seven steals as well as 14 points and five rebounds in the Marquette contest.
GU has three players averaging double digits as White and Adomako lead the team with 15.4 and 14.6 ppg, respectively. Graduate student
Mikayla Venson (Arlington, Va. / Yorktown / Virginia) is third with 11.4 ppg. White is averaging 7.8 rpg to lead the squad and Adomako is second with 7.5 rpg. White has a team-best 46 assists on the season as well as 42 steals, and Venson has 42 helpers to her credit. Junior forward
Anita Kelava (Zagreb, Croatia / Croatian National Team / Maine) has 30 blocks to lead the squad, Adomako is second with 28. The squad currently holds a +2.6 margin in turnovers.
Georgetown leads the BIG EAST in blocks with 5.1 bpg. White ranks fifth in the league in scoring, while Adomako sits at sixth and Venson at 24th. White is fifth in rebounding and Adomako is seventh. Kelava is second in the league in blocks per game and Adomako sits right behind her at third.
Villanova are 11-6 overall and 2-4 in BIG EAST play. The team is led in scoring by Kelly Jekot who is averaging 14.1 points per game, while Mary Gedaka ranks second in scoring at 12.8 points per game. Gedaka is also the team's top rebounder at 7.4 per game. Jekot registered her first career double-double in Wednesday's 58-50 win at Penn with 18 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. With the victory, the Wildcats captured the 2018-19 Philadelphia Big Five championship with a perfect 4-0 record.
Georgetown is 22-42 against the Wildcats and 13-15 at home. Last year, the squads met three times with the Hoyas losing twice in the regular season with a point differential of just three over two contests. GU came back and defeated third-seeded Villanova 63-58 in the BIG EAST Tournament to advance to the semifinals. Forward
Cynthia Petke was a force with a double-double tallying 24 points and a team-best 11 rebounds. She also managed two steals. White was the other Hoya in double figures with 20 points while also pulling down nine rebounds and managing three assists.
