WASHINGTON –  The Georgetown University men's tennis team competed at the ITA Regionals in Charlottesville, Virginia this past weekend. 

Freshman Kieran Foster was seeded No. 15 overall for the singles tournament and was able to grab two wins to give himself another good outing early on in his Georgetown career. The freshman received a bye in the first two rounds before downing Panagiotis Neearchou (Old Dominion) 6-3, 6-0 and Zicheng Zeng (George Washington) 7-5, 6-3.  Foster fell to the No. 4 seed Ryan Goetz (UVA) in the round of 16 6-1, 6-1. 

Junior Connor Lee went 2-1 before falling to top overall seed Nicaise Muamba (Liberty) in the round of 32 6-1, 6-2. The tandems of Rohan Kander/Andrew Rozanov and Foster/Ian Witmer each had first round wins in the doubles bracket. 

The Hoyas will travel to Arlington, Virginia on Friday, Nov. 8 for the Veterans Day Challenge.
