WASHINGTON – The No. 14 Georgetown women's soccer team (10-2-3, 4-0-2 BIG EAST) will face a pair of BIG EAST opponents this week, beginning on Thursday at DePaul (6-6-3, 3-2-1 BIG EAST). GU will host Seton Hall (1-11-1, 0-6-0 BIG EAST) on Sunday. The Hoyas are wrapping up their road game schedule in Chicago with a 4 p.m. match at Wish Field this Thursday. GU's Senior Day will be on Sunday at Shaw Field prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff time against the Pirates.

About the Hoyas
- Georgetown tied Butler 0-0 on Sunday as neither of the top two teams in the BIG EAST could score the game-winning goal in 110 minutes of play. Freshman Anna Leat made five saves on the day and recorded her sixth shutout.
- Leat was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Monday for the third time in four weeks.
- Graduate student Amanda Carolan leads the Blue & Gray with 23 points off of nine goals and five assists. Senior Paula Germino-Watnick ranks second on the team with 20 points off of six goals and eight assists. Sophomore Boo Jackson leads the team with nine assists.
- Georgetown leads the BIG EAST in multiple categories: points (112), goals (36), assists (40) and corner kicks (114). Jackson and Germino-Watnick sit first and second in the league, respectively, in assists.
- The team sits among the top 10 in the country in several categories: fourth in corner kicks per game (7.60) and 10th in assists per game (2.40) and total assists (40).
Scouting DePaul
- The Blue Demons are coming off of a 4-0 shutout over Seton Hall on Saturday in Chicago. DePaul scored all four of its goals in the first half.
- Morgan Turner scored two goals against the Pirates and leads the team with 14 points off of seven goals.
- Against SHU, Jackie Batliner had an assist on three of the four goals and has a team-high five helpers.
- DePaul has outscored its BIG EAST opponents 9-6 so far this season.
Series History vs. the Blue Demons
- Thursday will be the 19th meeting between the two teams. GU leads the all-time series 9-5-4.
- The last meeting occurred during the 2018 regular season when the Hoyas won 3-0. Meaghan Nally scored GU's first goal in the third minute off of a corner kick.
Scouting Seton Hall
- The Pirates are looking for their first BIG EAST win this season and will face Creighton on Thursday before heading to the Hilltop.
- SHU is coming off of its 4-0 loss to DePaul last weekend and split time between two goalkeepers. Harpa Johannsdottir took over in the second half and did not allow the Blue Demons to score against her.
- Laura Hooper leads the team with four points off of a pair of goals.
Series History vs. the Pirates
- Sunday will be the 26th meeting between Georgetown and SHU. The Blue & Gray leads the series 15-8-2.
- Last year, GU blanked the Pirates 3-0 and scored all three of its goals in the second half. Seniors Sarah Trissel and Casey Richards each recorded a goal in the victory.
