WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Director of Track & Field / Cross Country Julie Culley announced the women's and men's indoor and outdoor schedules for the upcoming 2019-20 track & field season. 
 
"We are so excited to announce our 2019-20 competition schedule with meets that suit our team's competitive strengths as we prepare for the BIG EAST Championships and NCAA finals," Culley said. "New to our lineup this year is the Hokie Invitational and Indiana Relays in the indoor season as well as the Joe Walker Invitational at Ole Miss and the return of the ECAC/IC4A Championships in the outdoor season. We will look to improve upon our team score at both the indoor and outdoor BIG EAST Championships as we have some young talent on the roster who will step in and make an immediate impact on our team and the conference. It's going to be a fun season for the Hoyas!"
 
Both teams will kick off the indoor season on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland at the Navy Invitational, hosted by the Naval Academy. Following the Navy Invitational, it will be over a month before the Hoyas compete again at the Nittany Lion Challenge, hosted by Penn State. It will be the first of two times over the course of the indoor season that both teams will compete in State College, Pennsylvania as Georgetown will also participate in the Penn State National. From there, the women will compete in two more meets and the men are set to participate in three meets to conclude the regular season. The postseason will start off in Geneva, Ohio at the BIG EAST Championships and will end at the NCAA Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
 
The outdoor season will begin in Philadelphia on March 21 at the prestigious Penn Challenge, hosted by Pennsylvania. From there, the Hoyas are set to compete weekly until the NCAA Regional Championships take place on May 28. The outdoor season will wrap up at the NCAA National Championships in Austin, Texas. Last year, former Hoya Josette Norris represented Georgetown on track's largest stage.
