WASHINGTON – Georgetown University senior center
Jessie Govan (Queens Village, N.Y. / Wings Academy) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Monday. Govan has earned weekly honor roll recognition eight times this season.
The Hoyas split the week going 1-1 in league action and Govan led the Blue & Gray in scoring and rebounding on the week with 15.0 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game. He opened the week with 21 points and 11 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season in a victory over then-No. 17/16 Villanova.
