LeBlanc has been named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week twice this season and Govan has earned weekly honor roll recognition nine times.
Averaging a double-double with 11.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game on the week, LeBlanc posted 14 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in a 77-71 double-overtime victory over Seton Hall. He also had eight points and seven rebounds in a midweek victory against DePaul. LeBlanc's double-double was the sixth of the year, tying him for the most in a freshman campaign at Georgetown since 2000.
Govan collects honor roll recognition for the ninth time this year after averaging 23.5 points and 9.0 rebounds on the week. He opened with 26 points and six rebounds in a midweek win against DePaul and recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 21 points and 12 rebounds in a double-overtime win over Seton Hall on Senior Night. He scored all 11 Hoya points in the second overtime to seal the victory.
Georgetown returns to action on Wednesday, March 6 with a road matchup at DePaul to cap the season series. Tipoff at Wintrust Arena is set for 8:30 p.m. ET and the game can be seen live on FS1. Fans can listen locally on The Team 980 and nationally on SiriusXM with Rich Chvotkin calling the action.
