INDIANAPOLIS – Sunday afternoon's BIG EAST softball contest between the Georgetown University softball team and the Butler Bulldogs has been canceled due to rain. The game was originally scheduled for 11 a.m. in Indianapolis.
 
The Hoyas will welcome Villanova on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19 for a three-game BIG EAST series at Nats Youth Academy. The squads will play a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m. and a single game on Friday at noon. Live stats will be available at GUHoyas.com.
