Hoya Softball Camps is offered by Head Coach
Pat Conlan and Assistant Coach
Monique White. They use a hands-on approach to teaching the game and provide players of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to receive quality instruction in a fun softball environment. Campers will have the opportunity to work with an outstanding coaching staff, current and past GU softball players, plus a variety of elite college and high school coaches from around the country.
The daily program will include three sessions which emphasize individual skills, fundamentals of each position and team concepts.
The camp's goal is to provide intense personalized instruction along with motivating each player to improve her skills and knowledge of the game. With a low player-to-staff ratio, it is possible to develop those skills more effectively. The camp targets players of all skill levels. Skill areas include hitting, fielding, throwing, base running, bunting, position play and game strategy.
Evening games will provide campers an opportunity to compete against top camp competition. Campers are grouped by age and skill level to provide the best possible experience. All Hoya camps and clinics teach the enjoyments of playing softball while supplying the tools necessary to bring players' skills to the next level.
