Men’s Rowing Lightweight Four Advances to Grand Final at IRA National Championship

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's rowing team's lightweight varsity four advanced to the Grand Final of the 2019 Intercollegiate Rowing Association's National Championship, held at Lake Natoma in Sacramento County, California.

The L4+ squad posted a time of 6:37.054 to advance to the Grand Final on Sunday at 11:48 a.m. ET.

Georgetown's LV8+ crossed the finish line in 5:52.064 to advance to Sunday's Petite Final. The L4- crew posted a time of 6:34.626 to move on to Sunday's Petite Final as well.

On the heavyweight side, the Hoyas finished second in their heat at 6:36.093 to advance to the Repechage 3 where they won the heat in 6:35.045.
