WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's women's rowing team will send three boats to compete at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association's National Championship this weekend, held at Lake Natoma in Sacramento County, California. The Hoyas will race a lightweight eight, a lightweight four and a lightweight double over the weekend.
Racing begins on Saturday, June 1 with the preliminary heats to determine lanes for Sunday's championship races.
Saturday's action begins at 11 a.m. ET with the LW2X racing against MIT, Princeton, Wisconsin, Stanford, Harvard Radcliffe and Boston University. The LW4+ crew then rows at 11:12 a.m. ET against Princeton, Harvard Radcliffe, Stanford, MIT, Boston University and Wisconsin before LW8+ wraps things up at 11:24 a.m. ET against Stanford, Princeton, Boston University, Harvard Radcliffe, Wisconsin and MIT.
