WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field teams stayed local on Friday as the squad traveled to College Park, Maryland for the Jim Kehoe Twilight meet, hosted by the University of Maryland. The Hoyas strung together several top-five performances highlighted by a pair of wins in the men's 800-meter run and the women's 1,500-meter run.
Men's Recap
All-American
Ruach Padhal (London, Ontario / John Paul II Catholic) ran a 1:49.19 in the 800-meter run to finish in first place. Freshman
Ian Delgado (Cary, N.C. / Green Hope) and graduate student
Brennan Munley (Clarkson, Mich. / Waterford Mott) joined Padhal in the top five, finishing in second and fourth, respectively. Freshman
D'Andre Barriffe (Jamaica, N.Y. / Bishop Loughlin Memorial) tallied a pair of third-place finishes in the 100 and 200-meter dash. In the field, sophomore
Josiah Laney (Sylmar, Calif. / Granada Hills) placed second in the triple jump recording a mark of 13.56 meters.

On the women's side, freshman
Sami Corman (Bellevue, Wash. / Issaquah) turned in a first-place finish of her own in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:23.34. Fellow freshman
Katie Dammer (Clarks Summit, Pa. / Abington Heights) placed fourth in a time of 4:28.14, less than five seconds behind Corman. In the 800-meter run, freshman
Cathilyn McIntosh (Loomis, Calif. / Del Oro) posted a time of 2:11.25 to place second.
Tamiya Roberts (Powder Springs, Ga. / McEachern) finished in the top three in the 100-meter dash while sophomore
Vickie Milledge (Simsbury, Conn. / Simsbury) ran to a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles. Sophomore
Olivia Arizin (Media, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) finished in third place in the 400-meter dash, recording a mark of 59.89.
The Blue & Gray return to the track on Friday, May 10 as the squad travels to Randall's Island, New York for the BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Icahn Stadium.
