WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's rowing team's heavyweight varsity four advanced to the Grand Final of the 2019 Intercollegiate Rowing Association's National Championship, held at Lake Natoma in Sacramento County, California.
The V4+ crew finished third in its semifinal race on Saturday with a time of 6:29.480, edging Harvard by .050 seconds to claim the final spot in the six-boat Grand Final on Sunday.
The Hoyas will take on Washington, California, MIT, Princeton and Stetson in the Grand Final, taking place at 12:14 p.m. ET on Sunday.
