HEAD MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COACH BRANDON BONSEY ON 5K DUALS
"I am excited to get the season started on Friday at Mount St. Mary's. The whole team worked really hard this summer and Friday is the first step in demonstrating that. We will have a smaller group racing but they are excited to get back out there and compete as a unit. Friday will be a great opportunity to get the competitive juices flowing again. It will also be the college cross country debuts for Maazin Ahmed, Quinn Nicholson and Price Owens."

WOMEN'S PREVIEW
DIRECTOR OF TRACK & FIELD / CROSS COUNTRY JULIE CULLEY ON THE 5K DUALS
"We are looking forward to opening this weekend and getting a soft start to what will be a great season for our women. We'll have several individuals testing their fitness off of a great summer of training and a few newcomers who will be running college cross country for the first time. It will be a great season kickoff!"

UP NEXT
  • The Hoyas will travel to State College, PA on September 13 to compete in the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational.
