WASHINGTON – The No. 12 Georgetown women's soccer team (5-2-1) will conclude its nonconference schedule on Friday against the Ohio Bobcats (5-2-0) before heading into BIG EAST play. The Hoyas will host the Bobcats at Shaw Field for a 4 p.m. match.

About the Hoyas
- The Hoyas were unbeaten last week as they faced Princeton and then-No. 23 West Virginia at Shaw Field. Georgetown defeated the Tigers 4-3 in overtime and shut out the Mountaineers 3-0.
- Graduate student Amanda Carolan scored the game-winning goal against Princeton in the 91st minute and capped the scoring for the Blue & Gray on Sunday, earning her BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week.
- Sophomore Jenna Royson was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as well after scoring the game-tying goal on Thursday in the 77th minute and put GU on the board against the Mountaineers.
- Carolan leads the squad with nine points off of four goals and an assist. She sits at No. 7 on the all-time list at Georgetown with 27 career goals, as well as No. 10 on the all-time list with 64 total points.
- The Blue & Gray moved up to No. 12 this week in the United Soccer Coaches Poll after sitting at the No. 15 spot for the past two weeks.
Scouting Ohio
- The Bobcats faced a pair of losses last week, falling to Robert Morris 1-0 and Ohio State 3-1.
- Senior Alivia Milesky leads the squad with eight points off of three goals and a pair of helpers.
- Ohio is ranked sixth in the nation in shots on goal per game (9.71).
- Besides their 3-1 loss to the Buckeyes, the Bobcats have not allowed more than one goal from each of their opponents.
Series History vs. the Bobcats
- Friday will be the second meeting between the Hoyas and the Bobcats.
