WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Women's Basketball Coach
James Howard announced the signing of three student-athletes to National Letters of Intent for the 2021-22 season. The pair will join the Hoyas in 2021, which will be Howard's fifth season leading the program.

Howard on Jenkins: "Ariel is a blue-collar player. She is not afraid of physicality and having to work for what she wants on the court. She is a high IQ player that rebounds, blocks shots and stretches the floor. She will bring an immediate physical and intense attitude to our post lineup."

Prior to Georgetown: A four-year starter and two-year captain at The George School earning four varsity letters … Averaged 17.0 ppg, 12.0 rpg and 6.0 apg as a junior at The George School … A first-team all-league honoree as a junior after being named honorable mention as a sophomore … Played AAU with both Books and Basketball as well as adidas 3SSB … Also a member of the volleyball team … On the honor roll all four years and a member of the Black student union, Umoja.
Howard on Myricks: "Kaliyah is long and athletic with a diverse skill set. She has the ability to score from all three levels on the court and has one of the best high-post games that I have seen in a freshman. Her attitude will enhance our physicality and intensity in the post."

Washington Post Second Team All-Met selection … Averaged 13.9 ppg, 10.5 rpg and 2.9 bpg as a junior … Plays AAU with GTS Fusion … Named MVP of the Governors Challenge as team won the championship … Selected to participate in the Triple Threat Challenge … Mother Christy Winters-Scott was a Hall of Fame player at the University of Maryland and coached collegiately, including a stint at Georgetown from 2004-05, before accepting the head coaching position at South Lakes High School … She is also a broadcaster doing NBA, WNBA and college games … Father Jerome Scott was a BIG EAST basketball player at the University of Miami.
Howard on Scott: "Bri will be one of the most versatile players to play at Georgetown. She has the ability to post up, rebound, block shots, shoot the 3-pointer and get to the basket. Bri will bring a level of excitement to our roster immediately."
