WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's basketball senior
Jahvon Blair has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office on Monday. It is the first set of conference honors this season, and Blair's third career selection to the honor roll. It recognizes his efforts in Georgetown's season-opening 70-62 win over UMBC on Wednesday.

- Blair led the Hoyas with 23 points and a career-high eight rebounds to go with four assists and two steals.
- He eclipsed the 20-point mark for the seventh time in his career.
- With his two made 3-pointers, Blair moved into 11th place all-time in career treys on the Hilltop, passing DaJuan Summers with 146. He is now just two behind Jessie Sapp (148) to move into the top-10 all-time.
