WASHINGTON – The BIG EAST Conference announced a number of women's basketball game date adjustments on Tuesday affecting six total games. This follows the remaining conference schedule being announced recently as the Georgetown already added 18 contests to its 2020-21 schedule presented by MedStar Health. Complete television designations and tip times will be announced at a later date.
Announced too, the make-up date for the home contest against Seton Hall originally scheduled for today will be February 8 at McDonough Arena.
Georgetown opened BIG EAST play on Saturday with a 72-54 loss at No. 24/23 DePaul. GU's game scheduled for December 22 against Seton Hall has been postponed due to a recent positive COVID-19 test within the Pirate program. The Hoyas will be back in action on December 31 at McDonough Arena when GU welcomes Butler University for a noon matchup.
