WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's and women's swimming & diving teams had 23 student-athletes earn All-BIG EAST honors, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Overall, the Hoyas had 14 women earn all-conference recognition, while the men's squad saw nine student-athletes earn accolades.
The All-BIG EAST squad is comprised of swimmers and divers who finished in the top three in any individual or relay event at the BIG EAST Championships. Forty-eight women and 36 men complete the list of honorees. A total of 54 student-athletes – 28 women, 26 men – earned all-conference for multiple events.

2020 BIG EAST CHAMPIONSHIP NOTES
- Both the men's and women's squads finished second. The women's 749 points were the most in program history.
- The Blue & Gray won 11 total gold medals at the meet and set a total of 19 new program records.
- Carbone was named the BIG EAST Championships' Male Most Outstanding Swimmer for the third-consecutive year after winning three individual gold medals and three relay titles. He also broke an eight-year-old BIG EAST Conference record in the 200-yard backstroke, marking Georgetown's first ever conference record.
- Fujioka was named the Most Outstanding Women's Diver of the Meet after sweeping both the 1- and 3-meter diving events.
- Head Diving Coach Marc VanDyken earned BIG EAST Women's Diving Coach of the Year honors.
