What they're saying about the Hoya Healthcare Heroes…

Lee Reed, Francis X. Rienzo Director of Intercollegiate Athletics

"Just up the hill from our offices, there are thousands of people putting their lives on the line to help those in need during these trying times.  The Hoya Healthcare Heroes program is one way that we can help those on the front lines as well as our community partners that have felt an economic impact from the pandemic.  This partnership is one more way we live our mission every day and I'm proud that our department has taken the initiative to make a difference."

Mike Sachtleben, President, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

"On behalf of all our Healthcare Heroes at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, who have been working around the clock to prepare for and treat patients with COVID-19, we are grateful for the support of Georgetown University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the community.  This generous support helps to keep our team motivated as they rise to meet the most significant public health crisis of our lifetime."

Ari Daie (MSB), FEVO CEO and Co-Founder

"During these times you can't sit back and watch, you have to get involved where you can.  When you see the communities you care about battling this virus, you have to step up. FEVO was built to bring communities and groups of people together to support the things they believe in and as a Georgetown alumnus, I take great pride in the university and the surrounding community. To use our platform to get others to aid the medical center, healthcare heroes and local restaurants makes me grateful to stand with and support the 'Hoya Healthcare Heroes'."
