WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's lacrosse alum Brodie Merrill (C'05) is set to begin his 16th season of professional outdoor lacrosse when the Premier Lacrosse League begins its second season on competition this weekend at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah. Merrill, a member of the Waterdogs Lacrosse Club's inaugural roster, is one of the most decorated collegiate and professional players in the sport's history.

• Member of Chaos LC in 2019, collecting 40 ground balls.
• Nominated for the Dave Huntley Sportsmanship Award and Brendan Looney Leadership Award.
• Selected by Waterdog LC third overall in the PLL Expansion Draft.
Merrill in Major League Lacrosse
• Played 14 seasons in the MLL for the Bayhawks, Rattlers, Nationals and Cannons.
• Won MLL championships with the Bayhawks (2005), Rattlers (2008) and Toronto Nationals (2009).
• MLL Rookie of the Year (2005).
• 6x MLL Defensive Player of the Year (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011).
• 7x MLL All-Star.

• USILA Schmeisser Award winner as NCAA Outstanding Defenseman.
