  • Morikawa took home All-BIG EAST honors in four events, winning two relays and finishing second in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke races.
  • He set the school record in both breaststroke events, including becoming the first Hoya to break the two-minute mark in the 200.
  • Sherman earned all-conference recognition in the 500-yard freestyle and the 400-yard IM where he set GU records in both events.
  • He won gold in the 500 free, winning his second-straight title in the event, and took silver in the 400 IM.

To be eligible for Scholar All-America recognition, a team must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), as defined by the institution, for the spring semester. Individually, the award honors students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and competed at their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. The three Hoyas were named as Honorable Mention selections for having similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.
