WASHINGTON – In its final out of the season, the Georgetown University men's rowing team won a total of eight events at the Head of the Occoquan regatta in Fairfax Station, Virginia on Saturday.

Charles Koontz finished in first place in the Men's Championship 1x.

The varsity 8+ boats podium saw the Hoyas take first place with a final time of 15:48.44.

The Hoyas finished the lightweight 8+ with a final time of 16:30.00 to earn them another first place finish.

The Collegiate men's Junior Varsity 8+ also saw the Hoyas take first place with a final time of 16:19.30. The Hoyas final time was more than a minute better than second place finishing George Washington University.

Georgetown finished in the top spot of the podium in the Frosh 4+ category beating out Pitt and Susquehanna.

The Frosh 8+ saw similar results as the frosh 4+ for the Hoyas as they finished in the top spot again for the sixth consecutive win on the day.

In the third to last event of the day, the Hoyas placed third in the varsity 4+ with a final time of 18:20.24.

The Hoyas earned another two first place finishes in their final races of the day which were the collegiate lightweight 4+ and the junior varsity 4+.
