WASHINGTON – The BIG EAST Conference announced coverage for upcoming championship events as well as select regular season contests on Friday. FS1, FS2 and CBS Sports Network will combine to air at least 20 contests this spring, while the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi will cover nearly 50 events. Regular season FS1 coverage kicks off on March 13 with the reigning men's soccer national champions Georgetown, as the Hoyas host St. John's at noon ET. It marks one of six regular-season contests televised by FOX Sports this spring.
Seven BIG EAST Championships will have their title games air to national television audiences. Nationally televised championship games include men's soccer (April 17, FS2, 3 p.m.), women's soccer (April 18, FS1, 11 a.m.), women's lacrosse (May 8, FS2, noon) and baseball (May 30, FS2, 1 p.m.). CBS Sports Network will provide wire-to-wire coverage of the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championship, set for May 6 and 8 at Anderson Stadium at Providence College. Jeep is the presenting sponsor for all 22 of the BIG EAST Championships.
The BIG EAST Cross Country Championships presented by JEEP on March 5 kicked off BEDN coverage for the spring. Regular-season action on BEDN starts with Butler at Xavier volleyball on March 19. A total of 23 regular-season tilts will stream on BEDN this spring. All spring BEDN competitions can be streamed on via the BIG EAST's YouTube channel – YouTube.com/BIGEASTConference.
